This guide explains how to connect your ChannelShipper account to your eBay store. This will allow you to import, manage, and generate postage labels for your eBay orders.
Within ChannelShipper, click the 'Settings' link in the top right hand corner and the 'Settings / Overview' page will open. In the 'Integrations' section, click the 'Go' button.
Your 'Integrations' page will open. Click the 'Add new integration' button.
A new pop window will appear asking you to choose the marketplace or store that you would like to connect to. Click ‘Ebay.’
A new popup window will appear asking for some additional information.
Trading name: Select the trading name you wish to associate with the integration. If you wish to use multiple trading names, you need to create a separate integration for each. Once you have selected your Trading name, the integration name field will be filled in automatically.
Integration name: This will be automatically populated when you have selected a trading name. You can edit this if you wish.
Country: Select the country for your eBay store. If you use international eBay marketplaces, you will need to create a new integration for each.
Update shipping status: At present, this field is enabled as standard. Royal Mail tracking and delivery confirmation numbers are automatically passed to eBay, and orders marked as despatched on ChannelShipper will be automatically despatched to eBay.
Update order cancellation status: Check if you want us to mark your orders as cancelled in ChannelShipper if your customer cancels the order in your eBay store.
Import Product Variant: Check if you want us to import any product variant information and display this on your orders as Order tags.
Click the 'Save' button to save your details, or click the 'Save and connect' button to save your details and continue the connection process.
You will be redirected to a sign-in page in eBay.
Enter your eBay username and password and then click the ‘Sign In’ button:
Read the eBay statement, and then click the ‘Agree’ button.
You will then be returned to your 'Integrations' page in ChannelShipper. Your eBay integration will not be visible, and in the 'Status' column, there will be a red link icon.
eBay will automatically provide ChannelShipper with an authorisation code that will allow your orders to be imported. Once this has been provided by eBay, the link icon in the 'Status' column will change from red to green.
This process usually take a few seconds, but please allow up to a minute for this to occur.
Ensuring your eBay store stays connected
eBay’s authorisation codes are a requirement for connecting to ChannelShipper; however, these codes are only valid for 1 year, so you will need to reconnect after this time to continue processing your orders.
The 'Connection expires' column displays when your integration will expire. On this date, simply reconnect your integration.
Store order status and import frequency
Your orders must be in the status of ‘Awaiting Shipment’, and no older than 7 days in order to importinto ChannelShipper. Eligible orders will import into your ChannelShipper account approximately every 15-30 minutes.
You can also trigger imports on demand by clicking 'Last import' on your Integrations settings page. The date will change to let you know the last successful date and time that orders were imported.
We will attempt to mark your orders as despatched in your eBay store every 30 minutes between 09:00 and 17:00, and every 105 minutes between 17:00 and 09:00.

Troubleshooting
Some unwanted orders are importing into my ChannelShipper account
Due to technical limitations, and the methods we use to look for valid orders, there will sometimes be older orders that import into ChannelShipper. While we do everything we can to prevent this, we are not always able to stop older orders importing into ChannelShipper- particularly when an integration is first created.
Any unwanted order should be deleted within ChannelShipper or marked as 'Despatched by other courier' to prevent them importing in again.
Some of my orders are not being marked as shipped in my eBay store
There may sometimes be occasions when eBay has not responded to our attempts to update the status of your orders. If this occurs to one of your orders, ChannelShipper will automatically attempt to send the request again after 4 hours.
